Anemon Villas - Villa Levantes

Anemon Villas are set in 4500 square meters private land, in the heart of an olive grove, surrounded by well-tendered Mediterranean gardens full of flowers and grass areas. The complex consists of three luxurious villas and all of them are fully equipped and specially designed with modern amenities in order to satisfy even the most demanding guest. Each villa has its own private pool and amazing views of the sea and the sunset.

Villa Levantes is a spacious 120 square meters, 3 bedrooms, two-storey building that can accommodates up to 6-7 persons depending on your needs. Designed like residence with the best of qualities materials, is placed in the most private side of the complex, offering romantic times of relaxation as viewing the sunset and the sea.The modern architecture, the excellent layout, the spacious private pool and of course the romantic view of the sunset are only few of villas’ s benefits.

A glass corridor, unique architectural design, connects the area of the bedrooms to the rest of the house. The corridor, as a bridge, is placed over the pool and allows to the illumination come inside. Imagine it, when lights of the pool, during the night, are changing colors! Difficult to describe it. …amazing to view it.!!! Light toned walls and modern design furniture provide an atmosphere of luxury and relaxation and the numerous large windows allow the light to enter offering beautiful views of the olive grove and the sea.

Stretched across two levels, Villa Levantes offers three bedrooms, fully furniture and tastefully decorated with vivid colors. The bedrooms are stocked with fabulous bed linen and we can guarantee maximum sleeping experience thanks to the best quality mattresses. The three bathrooms of the villa are spacious, one with bathtub and the others with shower, are fitted with fresh towels and in the fully equipped kitchen you can find all the comforts of your own home.

The entire villa has an autonomous heating/cooling system and a fireplace on the ground floor, since –as all the villas- it can be rented throughout the year. It also provides safe box and complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access.

DESCRIPTION OF THE VILLA

On the ground floor, in where is the main entrance, you can find an open plan fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a living room and a spacious bathroom with shower. From there you have free access to the central veranda, and of course to the private pool area. The spacious veranda offers amazing view to the beautiful sunsets and as it is furnished with an outdoor dining table, you can taste all the Cretan specialties viewing the sea and the fun set. The living room with the comfortable large sofa, elegantly decorated in vivid colors, also accommodates a modern-designed fireplace and offers full view of the pool area through a huge, wall –to –wall window. There, are also a satellite TV, complete with DVD, a mini Hi-Fi system and a selection of books DVDs and board games.
Through a door you are moving across the glass corridor, which leads you to the area of the bedrooms. Here, accommodated two large bedrooms and the main bathroom of the villa. Both bedrooms have their own closet and a shared balcony with outdoor furniture and view to the pool area. From there- as from most areas of the house – the sunset view is stunning.

The lower lever of the villa accommodates one more sizable bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower) and a second sitting area. In the both rooms, light and air enter through the large windows, giving a very airy feel. Furthermore a utility room fitted with a washing machine and ironing facilities, can be used as storage.

The pool area, in addition to the spacious private pool (55 cm and 1,5m depth -without children section), complemented by modern design sunbeds and a large umbrella (the beach towels are also provided). During the night, the pool lights create a magnificent setting as they change color and in that scenery you can relax by drinking a summer cocktail...

With easy access to the main road network, you can either choose to relax by your private heaven of Anemon Villas or make day trips to some of the most beautiful beaches in western Crete, like Falaserna, Balos and Elafonisi.

THE LOCATION

Anemon Villas are located in the district of Kissamos on the west part of Crete and the area is probably the most famous part of the Chania Prefecture. The beaches of Falassarna and Elafonisi, the lagoon of Balos and the peninsula of Gramvousa with the homonymous island are only some of the treasures of the area.

Kissamos is not just a part of Crete, is an entire destination with secrets and surprises, ready to be explored!

Staying at Anemon villas, you are only 4 km away of the capital of the district. Kissamos (Kastelli) is a modern seaside town, offering everything visitors might need but its beauty lays in the fact that although it has embraced tourism, it has not been spoiled by it. The town is standing on the site of ancient Kissamos, a flourishing, independent city with its own coinage and extensive trading links, which was the harbor of ancient Polirinia. Kissamos was also known as Kastelli and got its name from the Venetian Fort that used to surround the town. Today, the ruins of the fort, still stand in some places as reminders of its great past.

An afternoon walk in the picturesque fishing port of the town is offering a beautiful view of the bay of Kissamos and little further, on the larger commercial port, daily pleasure cruises are available to the stunning island of Gramvousa and Balos lagoon.

Anemon villas are located in Nopigia, a tiny seaside village where you can find an organized beach (just 400 m away from the villas) with a very cozy beach bar, seafood restaurants and a local food market. The location is perfect, as the most famous beaches of the island like Falassarna lie just a few kilometers away from the villas and if you care to drive for about 1 hour you can get to places like Elafonisi and Kedrodasos (cedar forest). There is not much to say about those beaches. They speak for themselves, as their beauty is unique and they have been awarded as some of the best beaches in Europe. However, in the west and north coastlines of the area, hundreds of small, less known beaches, are ready to be explored...

During your visit you will have the chance to notice that the countless beaches are not the only beauty of Kissamos. The combination of the green hills with the wild landscape constitutes one of the reasons that this part of the island is so famous. The north part of Kissamos, where Anemon Villas are placed, is full of olive groves and vineyards and you can arrange a tour guide to some of the local wineries as Pneumatikakis Winery (in a walking distance from the villas) or even visit an organic olive grove (10-15 min away from Anemon Villas) and learn about oil production.

Finally, the area of Kissamos has a long and rich history, which lives in the ruins of the ancient cities. Ancient Falasarna and Polirinia are reminding us the greatness of Kissamos in antiquity. The ruins of Polirinia found in today's village Polirinia, just few kilometers away from Anemon Villas and they testify the fact that Polirinia was the most important city of western Crete after Cydonia.
