Theofania's Marble House Meteora

Our recently renovated house is very close to all the points of interest of the area. In the village you can find traditional taverns with local food and souvenir shops as well as a mini market.
In the central square there is a playground for children. From here many paths of the area start. You can follow the path to the Holy Spirit Monastery, visit the monastery of St. George Mandila as it is very close to our house. The first monastery of St. Nicholas is only 1 km away and from there your visit to the six monasteries of Meteora begins. You can visit them on foot, by car or you can rent a vehicle from the city of Kalabaka such as bicycles, motorbikes and cars. There are also several offices with minibuses that do tours but you need to make a reservation. You can find several activities to do such as horse riding, mountain biking, climbing, mountaineering and much more. You can take one-day excursions to various places in the Pindos mountain range.
