Beware ! We arrived at the villa at aprx 22.00 hrs expecting to be met by the owner and shown around. Wrong there was a no show ! The villa was in complete darkness front and back. I rang a mobile number and was told the key was in the rear door so in we went. To cut along story short half the lights in the house were not even working! We rang up the owners who did not seem at all concerned. Having read previous reviews I asked where the keys were to the upper part of the property , I was told I had only booked the lower part ! I told the owner I had booked a 4 bed roomed villa as per the online description they then told me where the keys were. No exterior lights were working so we struggled up the newly built exterior steps in the pitch black. The next morning we met the owner who was sullen and not at all apologetic for the inconvenience we had experienced. Anyway off we went out for the day. About an hour after we got back the owners wife arrived with an electrician. She then proceeded to tells us off by saying electric is expensive on Santorini and we shouldnt use to much of it. We explained the lights hadnt even been working. She obviously thought that we were idiots who couldnt flip a light switch. The electrician started looking around and told the owner we were right and that the house had been re-wired incorrectly. They were a bit perturbed by this especially as my mother in law who is fluent in Greek followed the whole conversation. However there was no contrition from the owners. Anyway thanks to the electrician we had lights inside and outside. That evening we went upstairs to sit on the roof terrace to enjoy the great views. We soon came back down as all the furniture had been left out and unfortunately was rotten and falling to bits. Now I know I sound like a serial whinge bag but Im not. This was our 4th visit to Santorini we love this Island. The villa could be fantastic with a bit of TLC and for the owners to be welcoming. We were made to feel like an inconvenience in our dealings with them which after the 1st day were mercifully few. They have no consideration for their guests this is evident in there playing of loud music all day until late evening at the business at the front of the property. There is also a lack of information in the Villa no brochures or recommendations places of interest and where to eat out. Thankfully we had read the reviews that mentioned the back street walk to Thera directly accross the road, the cobbled path is a lovely walk dotted with some great Tavernas and bars with some of the best views and sunsets on the Island. Despite the owners lack of thought or general manners we enjoyed our time on Santorini and our week flew by. Our flight on departure day was a 22.00hrs. We asked the owner if we could leave our cases in the property and pick them up between 18.30 - 19.00hrs he agreed to this so off we went out. Upon our return at 18.30 the owners car was there but there was no sign of him we waited until 19.00hrs and rang his phone to no avail. Now we have a problem out cases were inside a locked house and we had a flight to catch. Luckily one of the ground floor windows was open and my husband was able to climb into retrieve our property ! This shows a complete lack of regard for there customers. I wouldnt recommend this property to anyone even though the villa is in an ideal position. The only thing letting it down being the owners complete lack of customer service . !

Positives-We were met at the airport on arrival and taken to the port to meet our ferry at midnight free of charge.
We were there in summer and the house was very cool with big windows and it benefits from its position having nice breezes. We did use the airconditioner in the bedroom, and it worked fine..As we were only a couple we didnt use the upper two bedrooms at all,and cant comment on them. When the ad, says the house has everything,it is not misleading! In fact I think it has two of everything.
The position is great, being out of the noise of town ,but only a short walk to Fira.,with a bus stop about 50 metres away.
Negatives-Not a lot really. We would have like to be shown through the house on arrival, but as the owner was away it is understandable. We had trouble with the WIFI for a few days, which is a biggie for us,but it was fixed in reasonable time.
This is a nice comfortable house, clean and tidy with a big concreted yard,in a good position. We will return to Santorini as we loved it,and would rent this house again.

This is a beautiful villa with a panoramic view. The sea on the east side of the island is visible from the bedrooms and terrace and the caldera is visible from the terrace. The villa itself is gorgeous and very conveniently located at Firastefani - across the main street. It was brand new, well furnished with a beautiful bathroom and fully appointed kitchen. The location is great as you can also walk along the cliffs to the neighboring towns of Fira and Imerovigli for a gorgeous sunset. Odysseus is a wonderful host and also rents ATVs. We rented ATVs and toured the entire island in two days (but wish we could have stayed longer). ATVs also provided transport to easily reach Fira town for dinner. We would highly recommend this for property as it is new, very large, very clean and centrally located.
