The village
Flayosc is a charming Provençal village with a fully-restored central square shaded by age-old plane trees, and an ancient fountain listed as a historical monument. With traditional "boules" contests, narrow streets, delightful old houses, chocolate shop, three bakeries, specialty shops - olive shop, a weekly food market, butchers and fresh fish shop. many local Provençal restaurants, three with ‘Guide Gantié’ recommendations. Located on the way to the Verdon Grand Canyon, in the wine region.

The property was fantastic. Everything we needed was there it was so well equipped. The village was everything we would want it to be.
My son warned us of the noise at 6am from the Bar below. This was perfectly acceptable - part of the village life. However and this is why I would not recommend it to a friend. The noise from the Road sweeper/cleaner was totally unacceptable. Around 4am it came into the square (under our windows) and ran the engine at full revs forever. On the Saturday morning for nearly 1 hour. we were all watching from our windows. My Daughter (in the Studio) only came on the Wednesday but said if she had been there for a week she would have to had to find other accommodation or get an early flight home.
Having said all that we had a n unbelievably fantastic time. The House was like home to us.

The property was as advertised everything stated in the description was accurate. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean.
My only real criticism is that our stay (1-15 August) coincided with 6 musical events that were held in the town square, about 30 meters from the house, so there was no escaping the noise. These events ended around 1:30 AM. I cant honestly say I could hold the owner responsible for this, but it is something to consider when booking this property (or even this type of property).
