2 bed cottage in the private walled gardens of the chateau ,formerlly the chauffeurs house ! , offering a peaceful location , but only 5 mins from a market town ,where you can find pattisseries, banks, and 2 supermarkets and a market on a satuday? with lots of local produce . The ground floor has a large living area ,a dining area & a fully fitted kitchen ,The first floor has a double bedroom ,a twin bedroom & a seperate bathroom with a shower
Outside a large park with a gazebo and barbecue for al fresco diniing.

Visit the marais poitovin ( green venice), cognac distilleries , where you can try the various cognacs & see how its made , chateau Javarcay , melle silver mines is an interesting day out, La Rochelle with its twin towers and beach is just &1 & half hours away , Poitiers ,limoges with its porcelain , zoo odysee which has a variety of animals.#

There are 3 airports serving the region : Poitiers 50 mins away, La rochelle & Limoges both 1 and a half hours . The N10, is only 1( mins away ,with a good link to major motorways & ports
