The area.
Sparkling, crystal waters and powdery, golden sands are one of the defining features of the region of Ammochostos (Famagusta), with its scenic landscape further dotted by quaint windmills, and its mineral-rich earth growing some of the island’s tastiest, fresh produce.
Comprised of the main holiday resorts Protaras/Pernera the once-tiny villages have seen their popularity and boundaries expand into bustling resorts that continue to attract visitors in their droves.
The stunning coasts of the region are further enhanced by its famous, vibrant nightlife, large variety of tourist accommodation, idyllic fishing harbours, Medieval churches, and picturesque, traditional villages. Together, they offer the perfect recipe for a fantastic holiday.
One of the main attractions of the area is the Natural Forest Park of Cape Gkreko with its cliffs, caves and coves. Aside from its breathtaking views, the park is ideal for swimming, diving, boat trips, walking and cycling, all in beautiful natural surroundings.

We enjoyed our two-week stay at this villa. It is within a short walk to the main road running through Pernera, giving you access to many restaurants and bars. The villa is conveniently located next to a lane where you can walk to the boardwalk/beaches.
The villa itself, whilst not spotless, was adequately clean. We did not use the pool as it receives very little direct sun during the day, so was quite chilly end of September/early October. Not a big deal as the beach is so close. Kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was very effective. Some of the blinds are broken and need repair/replacement. There is a blind and curtain in the main bedroom, blinds in the other two. I’d recommend adding curtains to these two bedrooms due to the bright (and early) sunrise. All in all, we had a great visit and would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic time at Crystal Lagoon. The villa was great. It was very clean, had everything we needed and the pool and outside area was perfect for us. It was close to supermarkets and lovely restaurants. Everyone was very friendly. We had a fab week!

The house is perfect!!! It has all the amenities you need. The outdoors patio with the BBQ and the lights and the furniture is perfect for a bbq dinner!!! The beach is a minute walk from the house!!! Shaun was very helpful with everything we needed! Easy check-in and check-out! Loved it :)

Amazing villa!
The location is perfect, close to supermarkets and restaurants.
And a 3 minute walk to the beach.
Maybe some soap, toiletpaper, trashbags and a dishcloth could be included in the villa standard.
We will be back for sure.
