The space
Most characterful villa we have ever stayed in” is only one of the several distinctive examples guests of “Nicolas Villa” have described the place to be.

It is a 3-bedroom villa providing a luxurious retreat and traditional atmosphere for a party of 6 or a family, with a private heated swimming pool and several external facilities such as a pergola, a bench with an umbrella and sunbeds, surrounded by lemon trees, roses and jasmine.
The house is situated in a lane area hidden behind high stone walls and gated with a traditional wooden door for more privacy. Highly recommended to guests who want to relax and sample the traditional village life, with many original features, whilst enjoying home through home comforts.
“Nicolas villa” is a bungalow style, one level house with 3 bedrooms. 2 double bed bedrooms with TVs and 1 room that contains 2 single beds that is connected through French style doors with a separate room where an iron and an iron board can be found. Also, there are 2 bathrooms one of which has a jacuzzi, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, a spacious sitting room lounge style with a smart TV and a traditional fireplace with original architecture.
Nicolas Villa has Free WIFI access for its guests.
Outside you will find a private heated pool with both steps and ladder access, a Brick BBQ, a working clay oven for Kleftiko Lamb and bread. The garden has several scented plants which are illuminated at night providing a one-of-a-kind experience, and concealed hi-fi speakers in the stone walls externally, allowing guests to enjoy music outside. There are 7 steps from the main gate to the actual house whilst the villa itself is enclosed for privacy by a 1.9-meter-high stone wall with antique wooden gates.
A short 100m stroll brings you to the heart of the village where you will find 2 coffee shops, offering sandwiches, hamburgers and drinks. “Lysos Tavern” has Cypriot cuisine such as souvlaki and other food while “Maro’s Place” has added some minimarket items to their range which can be handy. Paradisos Hills is a small family run hotel just 600 meters away from the centre of the village. It is well known for the stunning views, sunsets and off course traditional cuisine.
The location of Lysos allows visitors to make long or short walks in the forest of “Stavros tis Psokas” just outside the village where mouflons can be found. Also, we would recommend to pass a visit by “Debby Maria’s Horses” and go horse riding in the mountains.
Lysos is only 45 min from Paphos airport and 15 mins from Polis.
The Polis area offers beautiful countryside and uncrowded beaches. More specifically, you can visit Latchi area that has top offer a range of restaurants and fish taverns on the beach. Other nearby places to visit would be the Bats of Aphrodite, sandy Lara Bay where the turtles nest and Polis Chrysochous camping site.
Visitors are very welcome in this hilltop village that provides both a beach and mountain experience.

The Polis area offers beautiful countryside and uncrowded beaches, including sandy Lara Bay, where the turtles nest, and Chrysochou Bay, which offers mile after mile of quiet beaches alongside citrus groves, with a dramatic backdrop of hills. The nearby Paphos Forest has spectacular scenery and we highly recommend a visit.
