Villa Demetra offers panoramic views across the bay and beyond the Baths of Aphrodite, the Akamas Peninsula, Latsi, and also across the rolling countryside and hills. This villa is extremely spacious with a private good sized infinity edge swimming-pool, attractive terraces and balconies, and an excellent standard of accommodation inside, well-appointed rooms and attractive furnishings. This magnificent house is ideal for families, large groups of people or couples who are looking for privace and a smart, stylish and deluxe villa in a quiet area offering high speed internet and stunning mountail and sea view. The villa is about 300 sqm.
Whilst the lush colorful gardens of roses, orange and lemon, medlar, mandarin, avocado trees, laurels, jasmine and herbs diffuse their irresistible perfumes, be transported into the abyss of endless blue from your swimming pool overlooking the sea and beyond to where the horizon meets the sky.
From the intimate atmosphere to the luxurious surroundings brimming with character and charm, the owners have thought of everything to make your stay unforgettable.
The interior is spacious and fitted with all modern amenities to make your stay pleasant, comfortable, safe and pleasurable. The villa provides an inviting swimming pool, located in the front of the villa next to the outside dinner area, as well as a barbecue spot with ample space for sunbathing, relaxing while you enjoy and admire Argaka's natural beauty.
Argaka snuggles into the hills on the west coast of Cyprus. Set between Pomos and Latchi, it’s a slow-paced village with a couple of churches and winding streets that lead to a handful of shops, coffee bars and taverns. The unhurried vibe continues onto the sandy beach and up into the mountains, where walkers take relaxing strolls through the rural landscape.
Set in the far south of the Mediterranean, Cyprus has one of the best climates in Europe. Blue skies come as standard, and the island sees a massive 340 days of sunshine a year. Swimsuit temperatures kick in as early as April, when the mercury rises into the low 20s. Things get much hotter in the summer – 30 degrees is normal, although don’t be surprised if the thermometer creeps closer to 40 on some days. Autumn is slightly cooler, so it’s perfect for sightseeing or hiking in the Mountains. Cyprus gets most of its rain between December and March, but it’s not much, and temperatures are still pretty mild. At Villa Demetra you can celebrate Christmas with your family or your friends in a quiet area, in a spacious house with all facilities.
Argaka village is a beautiful place for a holiday villa as it is just a few minutes away from the beach and it has all that you need to make your stay pleasant. Argaka has a sandy beach with clear warm sea. From here, you're within easy reach of Latchi or Polis, both with sandy beaches and beach-side local fish taverns and high quality local restaurants. The visitors of the village are given the opportunity to enjoy the nature of Argaka by following the Nature Study Trail. While walking along the Trail, visitors can enjoy the beauty of the pine forest and the panoramic view towards the Community, the Chrysochous Bay and the Akamas Peninsula.
If you prefer, you can enjoy a golf game at Tsada Golf Course, just 30km from the villa.
There are lot of activities in Polis and Latchi ranging from water sports, swimming, helicopter ride, boat trips, fishing, go-karting, mini golf, night clubs, bars, nature walks, historical sites such as the Baths of Aphrodite, Bowling, Safari's, Sunbathing on the several natural beaches, Cycle routes and much more.
The Argaka area is very fertile and has an abundance of fruit trees including figs, grapes, prickly pears, apples, oranges and lemons. Being rural, early morning walks are particularly enjoyable. Additionally, in Argaka one encounters several species of the Cypriot fauna and mainly black francolins, partridges and loggerhead turtles.
Argaka has two churches, Ayia Varvara is the oldest one. It also has a few coffee shops, bars, hairdressers and tavernas which serve excellent local food. Besides, if you want to find more shops, banks, restaurants, night clubs and pharmacy, Polis is only a short drive away, about 5km and Latsi about 8km away.
Villa Demetra is located in a very quiet area, suitable for the absolute relaxing and chill-out moments, but only some minutes from very interesting bars, cafe and restaurants, as well as cosmopolitan beaches.
In a walking distance of about 1-2km you can find "Fly Again Irish Pub and Restaurant", "Argakiko" that is local tavern with souvlaki, sheftalia, pork chops and other local dishes, "Dimitris" tavern, "Saint Barbara", "The Half way House" and "Liza's place" cafe and Tavern as well as a bakery and mini market. All of them is beach front and has an awesome view.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Demetra. It is in a lovely quiet area that is not overlooked and has beautiful views of the sea and surrounding countryside. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. The owners were friendly and helpful. We would fully recommend and would love to visit again.

Villa Demetra is everything it says in the advert. Not only could we not fault it, it has a real "wow" factor. We loved its relatively secluded position and its not for anyone who enjoys being in a resort type environment. But still it is within easy walking distance of a number of Tavernas and the sea. Situated among orange, lemon, almond, grapefruit and olive trees, watermelons, etc, etc you can experience real rural Cyprus, while being only a 10 minute drive to the holiday towns of Polis and Latchi. There`s a well stocked Supermarket and a Bakery also within easy walking distance and a couple of bars actually situated on the shoreline. The villa and pool are well maintained and serviced and, although we didn`t need any assistance, the friendly owner was readily on hand and obviously prepared to deal with any problems. All our party of 6, which included a couple of teenagers and a couple of senior citizens, had a completely wonderful relaxing and fun filled holiday and we would highly recommend Villa Demetra. Our only hope is that we can return there again in the near future. Thank you Eleftheria for a memorable holiday.

This property is as good as it gets - absolutely fantastic! Full of charm, character and a great location - and the size -wow!. Regularly choosing many types of holidays through choice, this one ticked all the boxes for us. The villa is exceedingly well kept and clean, location is perfect for those seeking a quiet location and willing to drive the 10minutes to Polis for evening meals or a little further for the charm of Litchi Harbour. There are ample beaches close by - great location for families. The photos reflect the property with loads of space regardless of the size of your group. Our girls enjoyed wondering around the nearby area exploring the landscape, fruit trees (so many types of fruit) finding lizards and watching the kittens. Driving to Paphos and into the mountains made a nice couple of days away from the pool and beach. The pool is a great size which is why we chose this villa, our teenagers need the larger pool. The pool is immaculate and was cleaned when we where there, but with surrounding villa walls it keeps itself clean unlike many villas we've been to. Eleftheria made sure we had everything we needed and immediately fixed a minor plumbing issue within hours, which is a sign of a great landlady!! Arriving late at night, Eleftheria made us up a welcome pack, for a little extra, which was fantastic as it gave us something when we arrived and saw us through the next days breakfast, she checked by text on several occasions to make sure we were happy - thank you very much for a great holiday! - returning to this villa and location is very much in our minds, which would be a first for us!

My self and my husband stayed at Villa Demetra with my sister and her son.
The house is beautiful , very spacious and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The house has lovely views to both the surrounding countryside and the ocean. which is a 10 minute stroll away. The pool was fantastic , very well used. My nephew loved it , and it was also very well maintained, by someone cleaning it most days.
The location is lovely and peaceful but also close to enmities and Pafos is under an hour for day trips, there is also lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Latchi has a lovely harbor and you can take boat trips and do water sports.
Polis, the town close to the villa had some lovely restaurants. My favorite being The polis Herb Garden, which was very relaxed and tranquil , with its herbs and little ponds. The old town restaurant was also lovely with very friendly staff and delicious food, again with a very pretty garden setting.
The owner Eleftheria was really nice and helpful, giving us contact details for car hire and checking in with us to ensure everything was ok, and responded to us immediately if we had to contact her for anything.
I would happily recommend villa Demetra to anyone. We loved it and i didn't want to leave. I will definitely go back.

We so enjoyed our stay at Villa Demetra, The villa was lovely , very spacious , and had everything you could need for a great holiday . We spent lots of time in the swimming pool which was great. and it was so nice to eat our meals on the outdoor tables and enjoy the great views of the sea and bay of Chrysochou. The owners always kept in touch and told us when pool/villa would be cleaned etc. We were very sad to have to come home from this villa , and will return in future for another amazing holiday. We highly recommend this villa .
