The apartment was clean, well equipped and Kate the owner was there to greet us when we arrived. It is in a perfect location, right on the Main Street of the Old Town and there were even ear plugs provided in case it was too noisy at night, which we didn’t need to use. There were even cold drinks provided in the fridge which we welcomed because it was so hot. We would recommend it to family and friends and will hopefully return

The property is centrally located, but it is surprisingly quiet in the room (as long as it is cool enough to close the windows at night). The owner was terrific. Absolutely no complaints. If you are couple, or even a couple with a child (there's a sofa), this is a perfect. I was traveling with a colleague, and so one of us had to sleep on the couch. But that proved more than bearable, especially for the price.

We stayed for one night in August. The owner Maro met us off the airport shuttle bus and took us to the apartment, offering to help us with luggage too. He explained all we needed to know about the apartment and suggested restaurants to sample. He was very helpful. The apartment is well appointed and despite overlooking the Main Street, it was quiet. The hostelry at the back of the building couldnt be heard once the heavy bathroom door was closed. We enjoyed being able to pop back to the apartment to use the facilities during our visit. It served us well and we were very grateful to Maro for making our arrival in Dubrovnik so straightforward.

Maro, the owner, went out of his way (and far,far beyond the call of duty), to help my daughter and grandchild who had to travel alone (when my husband was hospitalised suddenly). His constant communication and reassurance that all was well was reassuring. They were met at the airport and brought to the apartment and settled in (he even helped another member of the wedding group who became lost to find their apartment). The apartment was excellent and just as shown in the photographs, and the apartment was quiet even though in the town centre. After their holiday, Maro returned them to the airport safely, and even took them on a little scenic drive on the way. I highly recommend this apartment.

We stayed for three nights in Apartment Ivo which we booked via the Villarenters.com web site. The experience of going via this intermediary was rather impersonal but everything went very smoothly. The apartment itself was delightful. Small but perfectly formed! Talk about "all mod cons" - we were able to watch the World Cup on large flat screen TVs in the bedroom and the living area. A relative of the owner met us at Pile Gate and escorted us to the property which overlooks the Stradun. Maro arrived later to welcome us and check that we had everything we needed. He offered us a transfer to the airport which we decided to use at the end of our stay as it was cheaper than a taxi and so much easier than struggling up a long flight of steps in the heat to catch a bus. The only points to bear in mind about this particular apartment are that it is at the top of 3 flights of stairs and because it is in such a central location (which we really liked) you do get some street noise from the revellers on the Stradun at night even with the windows closed. All in all, an excellent stay and highly recommended.

If you are looking for a thoughtfully and beatifully decorated apartment in a superb location then you really cant beat this apartment - and believe me, we saw a few during our stay in Dubrovnik!
Everything about this apartment screams top quality, and for great prices too.
The owners are grgeat too! Maro, is helpful to the nth degree and is always on hand should anything go awry. He went way beyond the call of duty during our stay.
The apartment is super clean, has a wonderful view from the window and comes equiped with everything youd need and a little more. We found the coffee machine and supply of fresh coffee very very pleasing!
Grab yourself a booking in this apartment before everyone else knows about it, Im sure available dates will be hard to find next season!
We had a great time, and would like to thank Maro for making it so great for us! He is definitely onto a winner here!
