Inside the house...
The house accommodates 4 people and includes 1 double bedroom with king size bed and 1 small bedroom with full size single bunk beds. On the ground floor there is an open plan living room, including a comfortable sofa, dining table and chairs and a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for self-catering including electric hob, microwave and refrigerator. The dining table seats four and there is also an outside table that seats four. There are fans in all rooms. The bathroom has a powerful shower, wash basin, toilet and bidet.
Outside the house...
There is a small private garden with patio area, where the outside table is located. The large roof terrace looks towards Kite Beach and the hills beyond. A short walk brings you to the beach and there are two small shops close by that sell the basics.
Your stay includes everything on the inventory (available on request) including bedding and house towels. Please bring your own towels to use on the beach. Also included is laundry (of bedding & towels), electricity and water. There is WIFI using a portable MiFi router (extra charges).
You may also add a selection of activities, such as surfing, kite surfing, diving and island tours as optional extras.
The area around the property is developing and some of the roads are still being constructed.

Would definitely book again. We had a few amazing days and the Apartment was really nice. Philip arranged a lot of things for us and was always available. Would definitely book again.
Everything was perfect This house is an excellent place to have a great time in Santa Maria. Only 5 minutes walk to the beach and the great "Angulo Beach Bar". We stayed 2 weeks and enjoyed every day. Thanks!
I stayed at La Praia for the first time in December 2018 having stayed at various other apartments and hotels in Sal before. I like this part of town as it is quiet and yet a 10 minute walk into the town. I like to meander through the beaches via Porto Antigo and it brings me out to my favorite swimming spot near the quay. The apartments itself is newly refurbished and very comfortable. The bed is very comfy and the shower is one of the best I have come across. There isn't an oven but there is a microwave which is fine. It is quite windy this end of the resort and it means that the apartment is nice and cool, a blessing when you are trying to go to sleep and don't want the fan on! There is a nice little shop nearby and yoga just down the road at Josh Angulos. Simple, clean, nice design, good location. I would recommend this apartment for its good value.
I stayed in this property for a few days in December. The roof terrace and the small, private garden were lovely for enjoying the perfect weather. The house is well equipped for self-catering and is very well located for access to surfing beaches and surfing facilities. The lively town centre is only 10 minutes walk away where there are a good selection of restaurant, cafes and bars. There are two small shops close by, where it is possible to buy the essentials. It makes an excellent base for people interested in surfing or kite surfing in particular. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is the best I have experienced in Cape Verde! The owner was very helpful and responsive and I always felt in contact. I would recommend this property, which is comfortable and reasonably priced.
