Affinity Villas Apt 1

Fantastic apartment, we rented all 3 and would highly recommend them. Hope to be back very soon! Didn't want to leave.

A great stay , Anglia and staff very friendly , defo stay again

So firstly I would like to say that Angela is great at what she does. She dealt with any of my enquiries professionally and mostly got back to me in a timely manner. She was there when I checked in and came to visit me before I checked out.

The villa is clean and a cleaner comes to the property twice a week to change and clean whatever is required. She was brilliant and always easy to talk to if we ever needed anything. The only slight problem was that the toothbrush holder cup and the soap dish were not very clean and there were no cleaning products in the villa (bleach, toilet cleaner, washing up liquid, counter spray, cloths or sponges) to be able to clean up with which I found odd. I did make a request for these items to be supplied to which the owners said yes eventually only it was a little too late as I'd already bought them when I was initially told they weren't provided. We left cleaning items behind which hopefully whoever is in there next can benefit from.

The villa is not huge but it's big enough especially as we didn't spend much time in there. The outside space is great. The only downside was that the people who occupied the villas next to us smoked an awful lot and often there was smoke ash on the outside patio and sometimes it was off-putting to sit out there more often than I did because of them smoking there. However the guys there were lovely when I mentioned it and made a few changes.

Facilities were fine. I'm grateful that there was a local phone with a sim that you could use to make local calls. I just needed to top it up with credit which was easy enough. When I first arrived I had to go straight to the supermarket to get food etc, so just as a heads up to anyone else staying there. If you can go to the store to get what you need, even if it's take away, before arriving at the villa. The people in taxis are quite accommodating and will usually stop for you to get something on the way. Otherwise, you'll have to make another trip out like I did when I arrived which I would have rather not done after such a long flight.

Overall the villa is situated in a place that is easy to get to from the airport. It's a short walk to the beach and buses to get to other places on the island and I would definitely stay there again and recommend to others to do so.

We had a fantastic holiday, the location was perfect just a 2 min walk to nearest bar and 5 mins to nearest beach. The buses ran every few mins from the end of the road that would drop you off at whichever beach you wanted or all the way to Bridgetown. Air-conditioning was good in the bedrooms and area quiet so no problems sleeping. Pool was lovely to come back to after day on beach, and even had some lazy days not going out relaxing at pool. Ideal to have washing machine to freshen up beach towels. Luckily we knew the area as there was no welcome/information pack which would have been good but we were given tel number of the villa manager who was very friendly and welcoming to call if we needed anything, kitchen was well stocked apart from dinner plates for some reason, but after talking to the neighbouring villas realised that some may have been redistributed after a BBQ as they had loads!! We would definitely use this villa again.

Property is in a quiet resedential area. Rooms are okay, but could do with a bit of updating.
Be very carefull trying to close blinds as they are plastic and break very easy( as i found out) therefore lost of breakeage deposit.
Pool looks bigger in photo to actual size, but for family with young children it is ideal.

I thought this property was fantastic Fred the caretaker was so good and very helpful throughout our stay.

The only down points we have is the aircon only being in one room this really effected the two people who had to sleep in the non aircn room we actually found it very hard to sleep as it was way to warm I understand it is expensive to run aircon all the time but I would rather pay a little extra and have aircon and enjoy my sleep at night instead of spending the night stuck to the sheets.
Also we had two days without a pool due to a broken pump , Fred and the pool guy did there best to get it fixed quickly but we did feel a bit disappointed.

Overall we loved the apartments it was very safe, clean Fred is a credit to the place a real nice guy who cares about his guests.

We are hoping to book again very soon as we are regulars to Barbados .
