The villa itself...
Comprising a total of five generous double bedrooms, all screened and with ceiling fans and now recently installed AC units, our luxury villa can be rented as a whole, or as a 3 or 4 bedroom villa.
The use of Trinidadian Mahogany and polished local limestone gives a very warm feeling to the house. Painted a bright yellow with a deep blue trim, it was named after the logo of the local brew. All rooms are large, airy and comfortable, with wooden shutters, Italian Terracotta and limestone floors and neutral tones.

We had a lovely time staying at Carib Hose. Location was amasing and the house was wonderful. Kids loved the pool and so did we. The atmosphere of the whole place was just out of this world ; it was so open and we could not help feeling very much at home there. We miss it still . All praise is due to Louise (the owner) who was always happy to help with anything and recommended some lovely places to visit. The maid Maria was brilliant and loved to play with the kids. I would highly reccomend Carib House to anyone wishing to have a lovely relaxing holiday in the most amazing location.

April 16 2013 - Thanks so much for sharing a part of the Antiguan Paradise with us - The Carib House. We found the location. the views and the design of the house perfect to catch the breeze, keep well cool and relaxed and plenty of space to spread out and relax around the pool. We visited every part of the island we could get to by 4WD and the restaurants you recommended were all fabulous! Our family and friends enjoyed their time in Antigua and loved your house with the fantastic views. It was also a great time to visit through the lead in the Race Week. BOULTON, Sydney, Australia

Jonny
Private Owner From Falmouth, Antigua and Barbuda Member since Feb 2003
The Carib House was built by Jonny, an Englishmen who had undertaken many building projects in the UK but this was the first in Antigua, where he relocated to in 1996. Completed in 2002 and sits in the gardens which were planted mostly from seed, another passion of Jonny's, and is now a luxurious growth of tropical vegetation over 2 acres. The villa is maintained rigorously, with the latest additions being A/C in the bedrooms having finally converted from solar when town power became available. Lou, an aussie, manages the house, is responsible for marketing and when you come to The Carib House you will have the most helpful concierge at your service!
